Founded in 1986, Morrow Engineering, Inc. built its reputation in the Midwest by helping industrial and manufacturing clients solve complex power and control engineering challenges with a hands-on, on-site approach. From the beginning, the firm focused less on being the largest consultancy and more on being the most trusted, earning repeat partnerships by delivering practical designs, clear project leadership, and reliable execution support in demanding facility environments.
Over the years, Morrow expanded its capabilities and its footprint to better serve customers across the U.S. and beyond. With offices in Wichita, Kansas and Colorado Springs, Colorado, the company supports projects across a wide range of heavy and process-driven facilities, manufacturing plants, refineries, processing facilities, power plants, pumping stations, warehouses, grain terminals, and more, bringing together engineering design, project management, construction support, and specialized studies like arc flash analysis.

A major milestone came in 2020, when Brian Stratton and Mark Wallsten assumed leadership of the company, continuing Morrow’s long-standing commitment to technical excellence while scaling its ability to serve multi-site and multi-state clients. Under their direction, Morrow strengthened its bench of licensed engineers and technical specialists, including project managers, programmers, technicians, designers, CAD operators, and construction leaders, so clients could rely on one team from early design through commissioning and ongoing reliability needs.
In 2026, Morrow Engineering joined Guidant Power. Morrow brings deep experience supporting clients through electrical system upgrades, reliability improvements, and extending the life of mature assets, capabilities that closely align with Guidant Power’s mission to reduce risk, ensure compliance, and protect people and assets. The company’s mission remains straightforward: to provide personalized, high-integrity engineering support, remain adaptable in fast-changing project environments, and deliver solutions that improve safety, performance, and operational continuity, on time, with transparent cost and scope expectations.
With this partnership, Guidant Power can now offer licensed engineering in all 50 US states and Canada.
